There good at turning diesel into fumes, heat and noise.... But, ah, they do the job. These were engines outof big rocktrucks, and weve kept them going for a good 10 years, rebuilding each only once at least. boat is regestered for 2600 HP. The tug is 150ft long, 2800 hp, with a 900hp Z-Drive up forward. Shes 63 years old, and was called Foundation Lillian in Farley Mowat's Book "The Serpant's Coil". I will be uploading more shortly. Tug Generators-Auxiliary and main. Posted by: Sulazoh
Video duration: 57 seconds the first ones the main generator, a 471 GM Detroit Diesel. Loud as hell. The one starting up is the Auxiliary, a 671 in rough shape, but operational.
